As the Technical Manager with us, you will play an important role in our assignments, where you will have overall responsibility for the low voltage technical area. Your primary task is to see the entirety of the technical area and coordinate it so that the requirements regarding economy, quality, and goals are met in the assignment according to the contract and ABK. You will actively work to assist, follow up, share information and decisions within the design group, as well as ensure that the group develops and works together towards common goals.
You will be responsible for:
• Acting as the Technical Manager or lead designer within the low voltage technical area.
• Ensuring that the client's and other stakeholders' goals and requirements are met in the product to be delivered.
• Preparing system documentation, construction documents, and tender documents.
• Conducting investigations.
• Budgeting for the technical area both at startup and ongoing follow-up during the assignment.
• Collaborating with other technical areas and reporting to the Project Manager.
• Ensuring that planning and delivery occur according to agreement and within the established budget and timeline.
• Conducting reviews and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and requirements.
• Assisting in the bidding and startup phases as needed and based on expertise.
• Ensuring that technical solutions are buildable and meet legislation, requirements, and customer wishes.
• Acting as a mentor for junior resources and contributing to the company's development within the low voltage technical area.
• Contributing to continuous feedback on experiences.
You will work alongside our wonderful team in Uppsala, Stockholm, Västerås, or Norrköping and collaborate digitally with our other colleagues from our other locations in Sweden, as well as internationally.
About you
We are looking for someone with a strong interest in technology who stays updated in the field. You are responsible, analytical, and structured in your work approach, handling all details carefully to ensure nothing is overlooked. Your strong collaboration skills allow you to easily find solutions together with others, while you also have the ability to plan and drive work forward independently. Furthermore, you communicate clearly and effectively with both clients and other stakeholders and have a good ability to engage in technical discussions, manage requirement clarifications, and share information. We also see that you have a flexible approach and enjoy navigating through changing conditions.
Qualifications
• A university degree or equivalent vocational training, such as electrical engineering, engineering in electrical technology, railway design, or acquired knowledge in another way.
• At least 3 years of experience in low voltage design for railway projects.
• Very good knowledge of all relevant components in the low voltage technical area.
• Proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Meritorious
• Good knowledge of ABK 09, AB 04, and ABT 06.
• Familiarity with tender documents in FU: UF, UK, AMA, MER, and UB.
• Experience in multidisciplinary projects.
