Currently, we have approximately 70 team members within Auto Solutions. The Complete Vehicle Engineering team consists of 12 members. We work in an agile setup at the intersection of hardware and software. As part of our system engineering team, your focus will be on leading system development through early system development and tailoring solutions for our customers' business needs. **For this position as System Engineer, your responsibilities will include:** * Taking on the role of Pre-study Leader, focusing on the design of system solutions for autonomous vehicles (forklifts), a safety-critical system including both hardware and software. * Working with robotics technologies such as localization, perception-based navigation, and vision systems. * Defining products and platforms, and ensuring standard compliance. * Engaging in cross-functional collaboration with customers and product management. * Contributing to the continuous refinement of our working methods. **We're looking for people who bring a mix of the following skills and experiences:** * A degree in Applied Physics, Electrical/Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or equivalent. * Experience from early development phases, such as concept development and pre-studies. * Experience in the field of systems engineering. * Experience in a relevant field, preferably related to software engineering, e.g., design of autonomous vehicles or other system design. * Experience in technical leadership, e.g., for products, platforms, projects, or programs. * Proficiency in both spoken and written English. Proficiency in Swedish is a plus. You love to solve cross-functional technical challenges, combining a systematic approach with business focus. Staying updated on industry trends, you actively contribute to defining strategies for systems and components. Your strong communication skills help foster a positive and supportive team environment.
