The Individual and Family Care unit in Lekeberg Municipality consists of a total of 23 employees across child, adult, support, and open care services. Do you want to help develop the social services of the future in a small municipality where decision-making and collaboration are quick? The Individual and Family Care unit in Lekeberg Municipality is on an exciting development journey, moving from previous major challenges to a social service with strong future confidence, quality, job satisfaction, and sustainable working methods. We are now seeking a team leader for the adult unit, which consists of two work groups: Social workers (4 case managers) working with income support, harmful use and addiction, and domestic violence. Care managers (4 case managers) who investigate and decide on interventions according to Social Services Act (SoL) and Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS) within elderly care and disability support. As a team leader, you have a central function in operational work and serve as a key person in daily support for case managers. You are the link between the Individual and Family Care Chief and work groups, coordinating, structuring, and quality-assuring the operation with a holistic perspective. Although you do not have formal personnel management responsibility, your role is crucial in creating a calm work environment, promoting collaboration, and ensuring that assignments are carried out in accordance with legislation, legal praxis, and organizational goals. The assignment includes, among other things: • Coordinating and supporting daily operational work • Preparing documentation for case review and leading dialogues on quality and legal certainty • Contributing to the interpretation of legislation and legal praxis • Spreading current knowledge and actively working with environmental monitoring • Contributing to the development of working methods, routines, and structure • Representing the unit in various collaboration forms and building good relationships with other operations, principals, and interest organizations Team leaders report directly to the Individual and Family Care Chief and are part of the management group, with a total of three team leaders in the Individual and Family Care unit. We are looking for someone who: • Is a social worker with at least five years of experience in public authority exercise • Has good ability to express themselves verbally and in writing • Is confident in their professional role and has good analytical skills • Has a structured work approach and clear communication • Easily creates trust and is accustomed to coaching and supporting others • Has a strong focus on quality and legal certainty • Works purposefully to develop the operation in line with legislation and citizens' needs Requirements: • Social work degree • Several years of experience in public authority exercise • Class B driver's license Meritorious: • Experience as a case manager in all areas of leadership responsibility • Experience with development work related to work processes and method support • Ability to coordinate, supervise, and develop work forward Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
