Main Responsibilities
We are looking for team leaders for our new store, Hemköp Jönköping Strandängen. If you want to have overall responsibility for one or more departments and lead employees, the role of Team Leader in the fresh produce department is perfect for you. Below is what it means to be a Team Leader at Hemköp:
• You will be responsible for purchasing and sales, as well as ensuring that the department achieves our collectively set goals.
• You will ensure that customers have a great experience with us. The customer is at the core of our business, and therefore daily customer contact is important for creating a positive store experience.
• Together with your team, you will secure profitability and ensure that routines are followed, as well as monitor gross profit and sales.
• As a Team Leader, you will have personnel responsibility. This includes ensuring that employees receive the right information, develop, and thrive, as well as ensuring smooth and effective operations in the store. You will also be part of the store's management team.
Position: Permanent full-time employment, with a probationary period.
Start Date: 2026-02-16 or as agreed.
Working Hours: You will alternate between early mornings, daytime, evenings, and weekends.
What We Expect
Being passionate about food, skilled in driving sales, and enjoying working with people are prerequisites for this role. Below are additional expectations for you as a Team Leader at Hemköp:
• You should have knowledge of the products within your area of responsibility.
• You need to be familiar with basic financial key figures and have experience working in a store.
• As a Team Leader, your leadership is important. You need to be good at explaining routines, describing the goals the store should achieve, and identifying existing challenges.
• It is important that you thrive in a fast-paced environment. Equally important is your ability to delegate tasks, provide and receive feedback, and not shy away from driving through changes.
