We are all different. And that’s wonderful! We do not hire people based on a specific mold, but rather on who you are. For us, drive and personality are more important than experience and background. We are doing well and growing rapidly. Now we are looking for more cheerful employees with the right attitude and a desire to develop!

The fresh produce department is a very important part of our store, and as the Fresh Team Leader, you play a key role in the store. Our team leaders are crucial to the development of the store and the store team, and in the effort to offer our customers good and sustainable food at really great prices!
Here’s a bit more about the position:
• You are part of the store's management team, with the store manager as your immediate supervisor, and you lead and plan the operations of the fresh produce team. Naturally, you will actively participate in the daily operational store work – you can expect to get plenty of steps on your pedometer!
• You work purposefully to develop the store's sales, profitability, and other important key performance indicators. You also participate in the work of developing and following up on the store's business plan.
• You have personnel responsibility for the employees in the fresh produce team and are therefore responsible for recruitment, scheduling, and onboarding.
• You lead, motivate, and develop your team and contribute to the employees' growth and performance based on their full potential.
• You are a role model in welcoming all our customers and meeting them with knowledge, sensitivity, and a big smile.
About us
Not everyone is suited to work with us. But many find it enjoyable! For us, the right attitude and willingness to develop are more important than experience and education. With us, you will work alongside a whole team of great personalities with different backgrounds, skills, and perspectives.
Here’s a bit more about us:
• There are clear routines and structures in place, which frees up time for you to focus on developing your team and department.
• You will be offered many ways to grow and develop in your leadership role. The majority of our store managers once worked as team leaders.
• Willys is one of the industry's most successful companies, and we continue to grow. And as we grow, you can too – within your own area of responsibility or in others, in-store, in the warehouse, or in the office.
• Willys is also part of the Axfood family, a group with a variety of companies and operations, offering many different career paths and development opportunities. Through the Axfood Academy, we can offer our employees a range of different training programs.

About you
You love food, people, and sales just as much as we do! For us, it doesn’t matter if you are a vegan or a meat lover, eating tacos on a Friday or a Tuesday. The great thing about you is that you are you. And that’s exactly what we are looking for.
• You are driven to inspire and engage your employees, you excel at creating a positive work environment, and you continuously develop your team.
• You thrive in result-oriented environments where the pace is high; you have strong self-drive, good problem-solving skills, and do not shy away from making decisions when necessary.
• You have good knowledge of store operations and are accustomed to leading and working together in a team.
• Since the fresh produce department is such an important part of our store, it is essential that you, like us, have high ambitions, are meticulous, and maintain a very high level of structure and planning.
• You enjoy challenges and see opportunities instead of difficulties in a daily routine that often presents varying conditions and unforeseen events.
• You like people, prioritize customer needs, and are good at getting people on board – both customers and employees.
• You are good at communicating and can develop your team and store through feedback and coaching.
• You need to have prior experience in leadership roles in a service profession, and it is a clear advantage if you have experience in grocery retail.
