About this role
We are all different. And that’s wonderful! We don’t hire people based on a specific mold, but rather based on who you are. For us, drive and personality are more important than experience and background. We are doing well and growing rapidly. Now, we are looking for more cheerful employees with the right attitude and a desire to develop!
Position: Permanent employment for 38.25 hours per week, with a probationary period applicable.
Start date: January 5, 2026, or as agreed upon.
Working hours: You will alternate between early morning, daytime, evening, and weekend shifts.
Requirements: High school education, good knowledge of Swedish (spoken and written). We welcome applicants of all ages, but in accordance with the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations AFS 2023:2 chapter 8 and appendix 2, we do not hire individuals under 18 years of age due to the nature of the work tasks.
As a Team Leader 2, you will be prepared to take the step to become a Team Leader. Here, you have great opportunities to grow and develop into a leader at Willys. You will play a very important role in the development of the store and the store team, and in the effort to offer our customers good and sustainable food at really great prices!
Here’s a bit more about the position:
• You are a team player with more responsibility than others in your team, but without having the full personnel responsibility of a Team Leader.
• Together with your Team Leader, you will lead and plan the operations within your team.
• Naturally, you will actively participate in the daily operational store work – you can expect to get many steps on your pedometer!
• You will learn the knowledge and skills required to eventually take on a role as Team Leader. This is a springboard to advance your career at Willys with the goal of becoming a future Team Leader or perhaps eventually a Store Manager?
• You will work purposefully to develop the store's sales, profitability, and other key performance indicators.
• You will be part of the management team in the store and have the Team Leader's job description on your development plan. You will practice the skills you have learned in the job and through training.
• You will be a role model in welcoming all our customers and meeting them with knowledge, sensitivity, and a big smile.
About us
Not everyone is suited to work with us. But many find it enjoyable! For us, the right attitude and a willingness to develop are more important than experience and education. With us, you will work alongside a whole team of great personalities with diverse backgrounds, skills, and perspectives. Here’s a bit more about us:
• There are clear routines and structures in place, which frees up time for you to focus on developing into a Team Leader and assisting your Team Leader in managing the team.
• Willys is one of the most successful companies in the industry, and we continue to grow. We are also part of the Axfood family, a group with a variety of companies, different career paths, and opportunities for development.

About you
• You love food, people, and sales just as much as we do! It doesn’t matter to us if you are a vegan or a meat lover, or if you eat tacos on a Friday or a Tuesday. What’s great about you is that you are you. And that’s exactly what we are looking for.
• You may be junior in your leadership experience and do not need to have experience in a leadership role, but see yourself as a future leader and are driven to lead others. Alternatively, you may already have experience, but not within the grocery retail sector.
• You are good at communicating, enjoy engaging your colleagues, and excel at creating a positive work environment.
• You thrive in results-oriented environments where the pace is high, you have strong self-drive, good problem-solving skills, and are not afraid to make decisions when required.
• It is important that you, like us, have high ambitions, are meticulous, and maintain a high level of structure and planning.
• You enjoy challenges and see opportunities rather than difficulties in a daily routine that often presents varying conditions and unforeseen events.
• You like people, prioritize customer needs, and are good at getting people on board – both customers and colleagues.
