UMS SKELDAR is at the forefront of unmanned helicopter development. With new contracts and upcoming customer deliveries, we now need to expand our team. We are now looking for a leader with a background in system and software development who wants to contribute to our work and develop our product and organization. Upcoming customer deliveries are causing us to grow as an organization, and we are seeking someone who wants to lead and engage employees through this journey.
As Team Manager with us:
You will become part of the System & Software department consisting of two groups, and you will be the responsible manager for one of the groups. Each group consists of three development teams working cross-functionally across all system parts. Your role will be to combine leadership with personnel responsibility and focus on both people and the product. You will promote positive and productive team collaboration and ensure development aligns with business goals.
In the role of Team Manager in system and software development, you will:
• Lead, coach, and support teams and ensure a safe and secure workplace.
• Maintain regular dialogue with employees through 1:1 conversations, performance reviews, and similar to support staff in their daily work, development, and goals.
• Recruit new team members with support from HR and your immediate manager.
• Maintain an overall view of projects and delivery for your group, planning, structuring, leading, and distributing work.
• Be the contact point between development teams and other departments, and continuously report status to stakeholders.
• Ensure the team follows company guidelines and processes, and evaluate and propose improvements to facilitate better conditions for employees.

To succeed in this role, we seek someone with a college or university degree in system and software development, Engineering, IT, or similar fields. We are looking for someone with several years of experience in the IT and engineering industry and who has held a leadership role.
The position requires both English and Swedish skills in speech and writing.
