Your New Job
IES ĂsterĂ„ker is a newly established school for grades F-9. The school is located in Ă
kersberga with good transport connections to central Stockholm. We are now looking for a licensed teacher for grades 6-9 in Spanish, starting in January 2026.
The job description includes, in addition to common teaching tasks such as planning, instruction, grading, and follow-up, also mentoring students in one of the classes you teach. You will need to be available for meetings with guardians, students, and colleagues, and actively work to uphold IES's values and vision. Our focus is on learning and maintaining a calm environment where the school's routines and rules are followed by both students and staff.

For us, ongoing, clear feedback to students and guardians is essential, and you see it as a natural part of your teaching. In this feedback, you provide information about both progress and areas for development and improvement.
We are looking for someone with a Swedish teaching license with qualifications for grades 6-9 in Spanish who wants to teach students in an international work environment. Instruction is conducted in both Swedish and English. The working language among colleagues is also in Swedish and English.
The position is approximately 50% and may be expanded.
