Internationella Engelska Skolan (IES) Kista is part of Sweden's largest and most successful network of bilingual schools, serving students from grades F–9. IES Kista has 640 students and 79 staff members. We follow the Swedish curriculum with up to 50% of the instruction in English.

We are currently seeking a qualified Science teacher with a focus on Physics and Technology for grades 7–9, starting in January 2026.
About the Position
As a teacher of Physics and Technology at IES Kista, you will:
- Teach Physics and Technology in grades 4–9 according to the Swedish curriculum (Lgr22)
- Have solid subject knowledge and a commitment to making science and technology understandable and inspiring for students
- Be a clear leader in the classroom and create a calm and safe learning environment
- Plan, implement, and assess structured and engaging lessons, including laboratory work, practical activities, and projects
- Adapt instruction to meet the diverse needs and conditions of students
- Work closely with colleagues in the Science team and contribute to collaboration across subject boundaries
- Contribute to the school's positive and international atmosphere
As a mentor for 16 students, you will support them in reaching their full potential, regardless of their background.
Qualifications
- Teacher education and qualification in Physics and/or Technology for grades 7–9 (Swedish teaching license)
- Good proficiency in both Swedish and English
- Experience in an international or bilingual environment is an advantage
- A structured, professional, and caring approach to work
