IES Värmdö is a school for grades Kindergarten (F-class) to grade 9, with approximately 610 students and 65 employees. We follow the Swedish curriculum and have up to 50% of the instruction in English. We opened our doors in August 2021 and have had very successful startup years in establishing a school that is strong within the IES culture. We are seeking a licensed teacher in multiple subjects at the primary school level, with a particular interest in mathematics, Swedish, and social studies, to teach several subjects as a class teacher to students in grades 4 to 6.
You must be knowledgeable and passionate about teaching. You are a leader in the classroom with the tools to create a calm and engaging learning environment. You differentiate your instruction to meet the needs of all your students. As a mentor for 16 students, you will support them in realizing their full potential, regardless of their background. You are also a fantastic team player who brings a positive attitude and energy to the teams you work in.
