TBM Business Expert – Assignment 12 months (100%)

Location: Stockholm (20% remote) Period: December 1, 2025 – November 30, 2026 Role Level: Expert (+10 years of experience) Category: Business Development / Strategy & Planning Assignment Description A leading international player in retail and tech transformation is now seeking a TBM Business Expert to establish a new Technology Business Management (TBM) Office. The role is central to creating structure, transparency, and governance of IT costs and investments within a modern Business Tech organization. This is an opportunity for you to drive a strategic initiative that impacts governance, financial models, processes, and decision-making at the corporate level. Responsibilities As a TBM Business Expert, you will: • Develop and implement TBM processes and best practices according to the TBM Council framework. • Drive the establishment of the TBM office, including mission, structure, governance, roles, and working methods. • Ensure knowledge transfer through training and support to internal teams. • Support the configuration of TBM tools (primarily Apptio), including integrations with ERP, finance, and ITSM systems. • Facilitate change management and stakeholder engagement in close collaboration with IT, Finance, and business operations. • Create documentation, reporting models, and templates to support ongoing TBM operations. Requirements We are looking for someone who has: • Documented experience in implementing and further developing TBM frameworks within larger organizations. • Deep expertise in IT Financial Management, cost transparency, and value-based IT governance. • Experience with Apptio (TBM Studio, Cost Transparency, Cloudability) and connections to ERP/ITSM. • Strong ability to lead change, communicate complex content, and engage senior stakeholders. • At least 10+ years of consulting or line experience in relevant roles. Additional Notes • The assignment allows for up to 20% remote work. • Consultants who have been employed by the client within the last two years cannot participate in this assignment. • The assignment requires that the consultant be project-employed with us at Zetterholm & Partners. • CVs should be submitted in Word format in English.
