Public Dental Care Västerbotten encompasses general dentistry, specialist dental care in all specialties, participation in clinical training of dentists and dental hygienists, and dental technical services. We are responsible for all children's dental care and specialist dental care, as well as half of adult dental care. We offer modern and well-equipped clinics and are at the forefront of research and development through our close collaboration with the Department of Odontology at Umeå University.
Within specialist dental care, Orthodontics and Pedodontics form a base unit. The base unit also includes Jaw Orthopedics/CLP, where children with cleft lip, jaw, or palate are treated, and an apnea clinic where patients requiring sleep apnea appliances are assessed and treated. We also have an odontological knowledge center for small and lesser-known disability groups.
We are now seeking a dental nurse to join the Orthodontics Umeå specialist dental care team and become part of our exciting operation. Our team includes senior dentists, orthodontic assistants, and dental nurses. We have close collaboration between departments within the base unit, which means working across specialties may be possible.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a dental nurse with us, you will contribute knowledge and commitment that helps people feel secure.
You will have a varied job, working in a team with specialist dentists. You will also work with residents, assist dental students in the student clinic, handle administration, and perform sterilization work.
We strive for high involvement in daily patient care, where you play a crucial role as the "spider in the web".
We use computerized appointment booking and T4 journal system.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are seeking candidates with a dental nurse qualification.
As a person, you are flexible, easy to collaborate with, and have great commitment and interest in dental care.
You consider care and service a natural part of the work. You are proactive and comfortable assisting, working independently, and handling fast-paced workdays.
Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
