We are now seeking a self-motivated dental assistant interested in trying something new and who understands the importance of good service and excellent patient interactions.
Main Responsibilities and Tasks
The Orthodontic Specialist Clinic in Skövde is located in modern premises near excellent transportation links. The team consists of four specialists and eleven dental nurses and orthodontic assistants. We serve as a referral center for general and specialist dentistry as well as private dentists. A key part of our mission is to conduct continuous educational activities to enhance orthodontic knowledge within general dentistry. Our values are openness, learning, and job satisfaction.

You will work with patients needing orthodontic treatment, primarily ages 14-19, but also younger children and adults. We treat complex bite irregularities requiring advanced equipment. The clinic also provides extensive consultation services within general dentistry and collaborates with other specialist clinics.
Job Duties Include:
- Assisting during examinations and treatments
- Working with personal patients

Competence Requirements and Profile:
- Trained dental assistant with certification from MYH (Swedish National Agency for Higher Vocational Education)
- Preference for candidates with several years of professional experience
- Interest in both pediatric and adult dental care
- Excellent Swedish language skills, spoken and written
- Ability to independently manage administrative tasks
- Skill in organizing and prioritizing work efficiently and wisely
- Capacity to remain calm and composed during high-pressure situations
- Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to contribute to organizational development through active participation in clinic improvement efforts
