The Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic is located at Falu Hospital and is co-located with the Department of Dental Radiology and Orofacial Medicine. The clinic is staffed by five oral and maxillofacial surgeons, two resident dentists, three dental assistants, eight surgical dental nurses, and two nursing assistants. A significant portion of the X-ray examinations conducted at the clinic takes place in our radiology department, but the examination rooms are also equipped with intraoral X-ray equipment. Our sterilization department is staffed by sterilization technicians. The clinic also has receptionists and medical secretaries, bringing the total staff to around 50 individuals. Close collaboration occurs with other departments in the hospital. The clinic is a referral center for the entire Region Dalarna and for advanced jaw joint surgery from large parts of the country. The clinic's activities encompass the full spectrum of oral and maxillofacial surgery. The clinic is at the forefront of the field and conducts specialist training (ST education). Documentation is managed in Cosmic and T4 systems.

Job Responsibilities
As a dental nurse, you will assist in both surgeries and assessments. Administrative tasks will also be part of your role. Surgical dental nurses are required to be on call.
