We are looking for
Dental Nurse for the University Dental Care at the Faculty of Odontology.
Content and Responsibilities
At the University Dental Care, we work in teams around patients and students. As a dental nurse, you will contribute to good oral health, quality clinical education, and valuable research in the field of dentistry. The position will be located within the subject of Oral Diagnostics and Radiology at Clinic Unit 3.
The role involves a lot of independent work and personal responsibility, balanced with collegial collaboration and knowledge exchange.
Your main tasks will include clinical assistance at the student clinic, where you will support and guide students in their clinical education alongside supervisors. You will also have part of your clinical work allocated to the teacher clinic, where you assist dentists in all forms of treatment.
The position offers an opportunity to develop your radiology skills through personal supervision, courses, and seminars in the subject.
You will also be involved in hygiene and sterilization work as well as administrative tasks.
Qualifications
For this position, the following is specifically required:
• Dental nurse diploma
• Basic computer skills
• Good ability to communicate in Swedish, with at least a passing grade in Swedish 3 or equivalent.

It is important for us that you can prioritize your work independently and are meticulous and quality-conscious. Specifically for this position, an interest in and experience with radiology in patient-facing work, including radiographic imaging for both adults and children, is essential.

Previous experience in educational activities is an advantage.

The Faculty of Odontology is one of five faculties at Malmö University. Both research and education aim to improve oral health for the entire population. The faculty offers training for dentists, dental hygienists, and dental technicians, as well as specialist and doctoral education.

As a dental nurse, you will be employed at University Dental Care (UTV). UTV is responsible for all clinical activities at the Faculty of Odontology. Our mission is to maintain a clinic that meets the students' needs for clinical training and provides conditions for the teachers' clinical service.
