About this role
Region Västerbotten works to ensure that good health and sustainable development strengthen each other. We take responsibility for equitable welfare and for ensuring that research and innovation yield results.
Folktandvården Västerbotten encompasses general dentistry, specialist dental care across all specialties, participation in the clinical education of dentists, dental hygienists, and dental technicians, as well as dental technical operations. We are responsible for all pediatric dental care and specialist dental care, as well as half of adult dental care. We offer well-equipped clinics and are at the forefront of research and development through our close collaboration with the Department of Dentistry at Umeå University.
We are seeking two dental nurses for the specialist dental care department, Clinical Oral Physiology. Here, we treat patients with pain and functional disorders in the mouth, face, and jaws, often due to stress, teeth grinding, or trauma. Symptoms may include pain, difficulty opening the mouth, stiffness, headaches, and bite problems. Treatments aim to reduce pain and improve jaw function by, for example, changing behaviors, reducing strain with the help of bite splints, and movement training. We also offer advisory consultations and guided training in the department's jaw gym.
We are looking for positive and engaged employees who want to make a difference for people in need of our help. We encourage initiative, innovative thinking, and a genuine commitment to creating better care.
We offer a fun and varied job in a developing environment where you can take responsibility and initiative. We have a wonderful community, and you will be part of a dedicated team that, together with the management, cares for a good working environment.
Are you someone driven by helping patients, contributing, collaborating, and growing in your professional role? Then you are the person we are looking for!
