We are now seeking a dental nurse who wants to work in the reception a few days a week at our Orofacial Medicine clinic in Kristianstad.
Orofacial Medicine (hospital dentistry) in Folktandvården Skåne supports and complements general dentistry by serving as a referral point for patients with special dental needs. We treat medical risk patients, patients with specific physical and/or psychological needs, and patients requiring sedation.
The clinic in Kristianstad is located on the hospital grounds and has three treatment rooms. Here, a cheerful team of experienced colleagues is ready to support you. Orofacial Medicine works closely with healthcare, and we provide dental care as part of medical treatment. We collaborate closely with other Orofacial Medicine clinics in Skåne and other specialties. The clinics are managed under the same clinic leadership with shared subject days and other competence-enhancing activities.
WORK TASKS
As a dental nurse at Folktandvården Skåne, you play a crucial role in offering health-promoting and preventive dental care for all ages. You assist one of our skilled dentists through examination and X-ray assistance, delegated patient treatment, and administrative work such as cost proposals and referral management.
You will also work in our reception, where your most important task is to create a welcoming atmosphere at the clinic. You are our face outward, and together with your colleagues, you offer our customers and patients the best possible service.
The reception is the clinic's hub, and as a key person in daily operations, you are always at the center of events. Good customer interaction is a crucial part of your work in creating security and participation. Thus, you are part of our focus on patient safety and quality in dental care.
Your tasks include:
• Telephone and appointment booking
• Billing, cash management, and invoicing
• Referral management
• Follow-up of control reports
• Sale of oral hygiene articles
Overall, we offer varied work that provides knowledge exchange with experienced colleagues. Together, we continuously work to improve the operation, and you have good opportunities to further develop and engage in issues important to you. As a new employee, you will undergo our introduction program, including network meetings and training.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are seeking someone with a dental nurse examination. You have Swedish language skills equivalent to Swedish high school or Swedish C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale, and good English skills. Furthermore, you have good computer skills and are experienced in working with various administrative systems. Experience working in a reception is meritorious. We offer training in the Alfa eCare Clinics journal system.
