Here at Folktandvården, we are at the forefront of research and development and have a close collaboration with the Department of Odontology at Umeå University. Folktandvården encompasses a wide range of areas of expertise. We provide both general and specialist dental care and also participate in the clinical education of dentists, dental hygienists, dental nurses, and dental technicians. We work in modern and well-equipped facilities located in several places throughout the region.
We are now looking for a dental nurse to join Folktandvården Ersboda in Umeå. As a dental nurse with us, you will contribute knowledge and commitment that helps people feel secure.

JOB DESCRIPTION
You will have a fun and varied job and will be part of a work team alongside dentists and dental hygienists. The role primarily involves assisting practitioners and performing your own patient work, such as informing and instructing patients, as well as reception and sterilization tasks and administrative duties.
We are proud of the collaboration between our clinics, and working at one or more of the workplaces included in the base unit may be relevant. We are also responsible for staffing the Dental Emergency Service at Norrlands University Hospital (NUS) together with other Folktandvården clinics in the Umeå region. Work may also take place outside the clinic, for example, in collaboration with health centers, schools, or elderly care.
We use digital appointment booking and 1177, as well as the T4 journal system and the Tele-Q communication solution. As a dental nurse with us, you will contribute structure and security for both patients and the team.
QUALIFICATIONS
For this position, you need to be a trained dental nurse with an interest and commitment to quality-oriented dental care for both children and adults.
We prefer that you have a few years of experience and the ability to independently perform prophylaxis and assess and analyze the need for interventions, which means you have knowledge and understanding of the importance of oral health for individual well-being and health, as well as the impact of general health status.
As a person, you are flexible, have good communication skills, possess strong organizational and prioritization abilities, and view care and service as a natural part of your work. You are attentive to your surroundings and have the ability to adapt your approach based on who you meet and what the situation requires. You find it easy to work collaboratively with others and want to contribute to development that leads to improved working methods. We value good communication skills and a positive demeanor.
You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, and we would appreciate it if you have experience with the T4 journal system, 1177, and Tele-Q.
