As a dental nurse with us, you will be offered an exciting and varied job with opportunities for professional development. We provide specialist dental care for patients of all ages with advanced or special care needs. Patients come to us on referral from general dental care as well as health and medical care. Our mission also includes education and research. Within Specialist Dental Care, there are departments for dental physiology, periodontology, oral and maxillofacial surgery, prosthetics, orofacial medicine, radiology, orthodontics, endodontics, and pedodontics. We are located at Östersund Hospital and together we are about 40 employees. We are now looking for someone who wants to work as a dental nurse in our periodontology department. We receive patients with infections and inflammatory conditions around teeth and implants, conduct investigations of oral mucosal changes, and perform various forms of implant, dental, and mucosal surgery. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a dental nurse with us, you will assist dentists during examinations and surgeries. The role also includes sterilization work, patient administration, independent patient work, shared responsibilities within the clinic, and contact with patients and referrers. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for a qualified dental nurse with a few years of experience in the profession, preferably with further education as a surgical dental nurse. If you are not further educated, there is an opportunity for that through the employer. Your personal qualities are important to us, and we see that you are flexible, responsible, and have an easy time collaborating. You have good planning and organizational skills and enjoy working in a team. Furthermore, we want you to have good computer skills, and experience with T4 is an advantage. You must be proficient in the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
