Main Responsibilities and Tasks At Folktandvården Öckerö, you will meet patients with various care needs and of all ages. You will therefore utilize your entire skill set, while the position requires creativity, empathy, and a sense of service. You will assist with examinations and treatments, work in sterilization and reception, as well as provide prophylaxis and care for your own patients. At the clinic, you will work alongside 18 wonderful and dedicated colleagues with many years of experience and broad expertise. Folktandvården Öckerö is located about 45 minutes from central Gothenburg, on Öckerö in Gothenburg's northern archipelago. You can easily reach us by bus or car, and free staff parking is available next to the clinic. The position includes, among other tasks: - Assisting with examinations and treatments - Working with your own patients in prophylaxis treatments, onboarding, oral health counseling, or acclimatization treatments - Working in sterilization and reception Please feel free to read more about our opening hours and how to find us: Folktandvården Öckerö - Folktandvården (vgregion.se) Qualifications and Profile - Qualified dental nurse with education recognized by MYH (The Swedish National Agency for Higher Vocational Education) - Interest in both pediatric and adult dentistry - Good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written - Ability to independently manage administration - Capability to organize and prioritize work effectively and wisely - Ability to maintain a stable and calm demeanor even when busy - Ability to collaborate and relate to others in a responsive manner - Contribute to the development of the organization by actively participating in the clinic's improvement work If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored mentoring program during your initial period. The mentoring program is part of our two-year development program for newly qualified dental nurses. About the Recruitment Process The first step in the recruitment process is a digital interview with HR. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for interviews at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for weeks 50 and 51.
