We are now seeking a dentist who wants to make a difference and become part of our fantastic team!
Main Responsibilities and Tasks
At Folktandvården Vänersborg, you will see patients of all ages with diverse healthcare needs.
We have OPG, DK equipment, and digital impression technology. As a dentist with us, you play a crucial role in ensuring patients feel well-received and comfortable during their visit. You'll utilize your full expertise while the position also demands creativity, empathy, cooperation, community spirit, and service orientation.
The position includes:
Working both independently and alongside your colleagues inside and outside the treatment room.
Work involving both simple examinations and more advanced treatments and emergency dental care.
Contributing to the development of the clinic.
In addition to general dentistry, we are also a clinical training facility that receives dental and dental hygiene students each semester. We also accept students from the dental assistant program. Mentoring/assisting students may also become part of the position.
We currently have 10 dentists, 4 dental hygienists, and 16 dental assistants. Clinic hours can be found at Folktandvården Vänersborg.
Competence Requirements and Profile:
Licensed dentist
Interest in both pediatric and adult dental care
Swedish language skills equivalent to Swedish high school or Swedish C1 in both spoken and written form
Ability to organize and prioritize work efficiently and wisely
Capable of maintaining a stable and calm demeanor even during busy periods
Ability to collaborate and interact with others in a sensitive manner
If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored mentorship program during the first year. This program is part of our three-year development program with up to 18 days of skills development.
The clinic is covered by Folktandvården's zone supplement system, which means a clinic-specific salary supplement.
About the Recruitment Process

If you have a degree/qualification from an EU/EEA country other than Sweden and lack references, complementary theoretical and clinical work samples may be requested as part of the recruitment process.
