Main Responsibilities and Tasks
At Folktandvården Mariestad, you'll meet patients of all ages with diverse care needs.
As a dentist with us, you play a crucial role in ensuring patients feel well-received and comfortable during their visit. You'll utilize your full expertise while the position also requires creativity, empathy, and a service-oriented approach. We are a large clinic with dedicated employees, where we value collaboration and ensure a rewarding and stimulating work environment.
The position includes:
- Working both independently and together with colleagues in the treatment room
- Working on both simple examinations and more advanced treatments and emergency dental care
- Being the team's specialist in oral diagnostics
We have a total of 32 employees with extensive expertise and long experience in complex treatments for patients of all ages. From treating dental-phobic patients with nitrous oxide in a calm environment to advanced implant prosthetics. The clinic also has its own OPG.
Folktandvården Mariestad is one of the region's nitrous oxide clinics and accepts referrals for both children and adults. Dentists and dental hygienists have joint therapy meetings where all questions are welcome. We learn from each other, all for the benefit of our customers and patients. The clinic has 16 treatment rooms in its own building.
Competence Requirements and Profile:
- Licensed dentist
- Interest in both pediatric and adult dental care
- Swedish language skills equivalent to Swedish high school or Swedish C1 in both speech and writing
- Ability to organize and prioritize work efficiently and wisely
- Capable of appearing stable and calm even during busy periods
- Ability to collaborate and relate to others in a sensitive manner
- Contribute to the organization's development by actively participating in clinic improvement work
If you are new to the profession, you'll receive an individually tailored supervision program during the first year. This supervision program is part of our three-year development program with up to 18 days of skills development.
