We are now seeking a dentist who wants to make a difference!
Main Responsibilities and Tasks
Emergency Dental Care is a large clinic with 10 treatment rooms.
The clinic is centrally located in Gothenburg, at Odinsgatan 10, next to the GP house. At Emergency Dental Care Gothenburg, you'll meet patients of all ages with various care needs. As a dentist with us, you play a crucial role in ensuring patients feel well-received and comfortable during their visit. You'll utilize your full competence and must be confident in emergency dental care while the position also demands creativity, empathy, and a service-oriented approach.
The position includes, among other things:
- Working both independently and together with colleagues in the treatment room
- Working with routine patients, including preventive dental care patients
- Emergency dental care work
- Work with referral patients, such as dentoalveolar operations, implant surgery, and prosthetics
We prefer candidates with competencies and interests in these disciplines.
The position involves work Monday to Friday with one scheduled evening shift.
Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
Competence Requirements and Profile
- Licensed dentist with several years of practical experience
- Swedish language skills equivalent to Swedish high school or C1 level in both speech and writing
- Ability to organize and prioritize work efficiently and wisely
- Capable of maintaining a stable and calm demeanor during high-pressure situations
- Ability to make quick decisions and work with delegation
- Capacity to collaborate and relate to others in a sensitive manner
- Previous experience with emergency dental care, prosthetics, and dentoalveolar operations is meritorious
About the Recruitment Process
After the application period closes, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for an interview at the clinic.
Candidates with education/degrees from EU/EES countries other than Sweden and lacking references may be required to complete supplementary theoretical and clinical work samples as part of the recruitment process.
Västra Götaland Region will conduct background checks before employment.
