Main Responsibilities and Tasks At Folktandvården Öckerö, you will meet patients of all ages with various care needs. As a dental hygienist with us, you play an important role in ensuring that patients feel well-received and secure during their visit. You will utilize your full range of skills while the position also requires creativity, empathy, and a sense of service. Your duties will include, among others: - Being a vital part of the clinic's health-promoting and preventive dental care for all ages - Conducting your own examinations and identifying, assessing, planning, and implementing appropriate oral health interventions - Providing outreach dental care in nursing homes Currently, we have a total of 19 employees working with us. The clinic is imbued with a cheerful and positive atmosphere, both among staff and patients. We continuously work on developing our operations with a strong focus on the patient. Qualifications and Profile - Licensed dental hygienist - Interest in both pediatric and adult dental care - Proficiency in the Swedish language equivalent to Swedish high school or Swedish C1 in both spoken and written form - Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and wisely - Ability to present a stable and calm impression even when busy - Ability to collaborate and relate to others in a responsive manner - Contribute to the development of the operations by actively participating in the clinic's improvement work. If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored mentorship program during your first year. The mentorship is part of our development program, which also includes networking meetings, team and communication training, as well as observation at a specialist or general dental clinic.
