Do you want to be part of a well-established industrial company with a solid structure, clear processes, and a strong ambition to be the best in what they do? Mattssons in Anderstorp is now seeking a Tactical Buyer who wants to contribute to the company's continued development and success by creating effective purchasing strategies, strong supplier collaborations, and stable flows.
About the Role In the role of Tactical Buyer, you will have the opportunity to help build a modern and long-term purchasing structure for the future. You will be responsible for planning and executing purchases based on customer forecasts, production needs, and overall business goals. By proactively working with suppliers and internal processes, you ensure that the right materials and components are available at the right time, always focusing on quality, cost-effectiveness, and delivery reliability.
You will work closely with production, logistics, quality, and sales, becoming an important part of the company's continued development. The role involves following up and developing supplier relationships, driving negotiations, participating in projects related to new products and delivery structures, as well as contributing to improvement efforts and efficiencies in the purchasing area.
What We Offer At Mattssons, you will be part of a family-owned company with a modern structure, short decision-making paths, and a clear vision to be the best at what they do. Here, you will have the opportunity to influence, develop, and participate in a growth journey where quality, commitment, and long-term perspective are at the center.
You will join a workplace that values clarity, order, and collaboration, where decisions are made close to operations, and where each employee is given the space to make a difference. The role offers great variety, freedom under responsibility, and the opportunity to help shape the future of purchasing work in a company with strong customer focus and high technical expertise. At Mattssons, you will be part of a culture characterized by reliability, long-term perspective, and pride in what you deliver.
Who You Are As a person, we believe you thrive in an environment where structure, order, and quality are highly valued. You have a natural drive and a desire to constantly improve and develop, both processes and collaborations. For you, accuracy and responsibility come naturally, and you have the ability to see the big picture, from the details in the purchasing flow to how your decisions impact the company's long-term business.
We prefer that you have experience from similar purchasing roles in the manufacturing industry, preferably with responsibility for supplier development, negotiation, and contracts. You have a business-oriented approach and enjoy a role where you can combine analysis, structure, and relationships. A relevant education in, for example, purchasing, logistics, engineering, or economics is considered advantageous. However, we also place significant emphasis on experience, engagement, and understanding of industrial flows.
