We are looking for a Unit Manager for municipal primary healthcare/rehabilitation and health – a leader who wants to help shape the future of local healthcare together with their colleagues.
Description
As Unit Manager, you will be part of the care and social services organization, one of the municipality's largest with over 320 employees. The department is responsible for implementing decisions in home care, special housing, LSS, Social Psychiatry, and municipal primary healthcare. You will become part of the elderly care management team.

Responsibilities
The municipal primary healthcare/rehabilitation and health division employs licensed professionals such as physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and specialist nurses. As Unit Manager, you will be responsible for personnel matters, work environment, finances, and quality work. With patients at the center, you will lead work towards safe, secure, and high-quality care where interventions are based on individual needs.
A crucial part of your work will be leading change processes regarding roles and working methods to ensure efficient processes and high quality. Additionally, you will be responsible for collaborating with other municipalities and healthcare providers on health and medical care issues.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone who has:
• College or university education in healthcare, such as licensed nurse, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, or equivalent education as assessed by the employer
• Experience as a manager with personnel, financial, and operational responsibilities, preferably in municipal operations
• Experience leading change and development work
• Good knowledge of Microsoft 365
• B driver's license
