ABOUT THE POSITION
As a train attendant, you will be the face of SJ Norrlandståg on their night trains. You will provide top-notch service, assist passengers with information, and ensure that safety is always prioritized. In addition, this is a practical role where you should not hesitate to step in wherever needed. SJ Norrlandståg is seeking several dedicated train attendants for their night trains who want to play a key role in creating a pleasant and safe journey for their passengers.
You will be offered:
- A paid full-time training program of approximately 10 weeks focusing on theoretical and practical learning in safety, service, railway geography, and knowledge of the vehicles you will be working on.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a train attendant, you will be part of a flexible daily routine with varied tasks. You will have the opportunity to take significant safety responsibility while delivering world-class service during the journey. On the night trains, you will act independently while having the support of your colleague. Therefore, we are looking for someone who enjoys both independent work and teamwork.
The job offers you a lot of freedom under responsibility, where you will be working with:
* Ensuring comfort on the trains
* Providing service to passengers both before and during the journey
* Conducting safety checks before departure
* Being responsible for service in the bistro
* Ticket inspection at the train's departure and during boarding
* Providing ongoing information to customers during disruptions and deviations
* Noticing, managing, and reporting deviations before, during, and after the journey
* Ensuring that safety regulations and order rules are followed according to SJ's internal guidelines
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO
- Has completed a three-year upper secondary education or similar experience that we assess as equivalent
- Writes and speaks fluently in both Swedish and English as the tasks require it
- Has previous work experience in the service industry
Additionally, you will undergo a health examination prior to potential employment to ensure compliance with the requirements according to the Transport Agency's regulations, and a background check will be conducted.
It is an advantage if you have:
