Description We are seeking two system developers for different development teams within a government agency in Gävle. Work Tasks As a system developer, you will participate in the entire development chain – from requirements gathering and design to development, testing, and delivery. Depending on team assignment, you will work with either backend or frontend development. Backend involves developing services in the Spring framework with Java or Kotlin, while frontend involves development in modern frameworks such as Angular or React. You will work closely with other developers, testers, and product owners, focusing on delivering value for users and the business. Qualifications Requirements: • 4–8 years of experience as a system developer (competence level 3). • Experience with backend development in Java and/or Kotlin (Spring) and/or frontend development in Angular, React, or equivalent frameworks. • Experience working with relational databases. • Experience with automated testing. • Familiar with agile working methods and approaches. • Fluent Swedish in speech and writing. Meriting: • Experience with requirements gathering and solution architecture. • Experience with operational responsibility, DevOps, and Continuous Delivery. Conditions • Location: Gävle • Scope: 100% • Work Form: Primarily on-site. Possibility of some remote work by agreement. • Assignment Period: Start February 2026 – February 2027, with option to extend up to three years. • Working Hours: Daytime, Monday to Thursday 06:00–15:00, Fridays 05:50–13:00.
