About this role

Are you a problem-solving, curious, and unpretentious developer who thrives in the intersection of development, operations, and complex system management? Do you want to work in a critical societal system with high demands for quality and performance? Then this could be the right challenge for you. ABOUT THE POSITION We at Academic Work are currently seeking a .NET system developer for our client, Trafikförsäkringsföreningen (TFF). TFF is a collaborative organization for Sweden's traffic insurance companies and plays a central role in the Swedish traffic insurance system. Here, we work with complex and business-critical systems where technology and regulations must go hand in hand. You will become part of a team responsible for developing, managing, and operationally handling TFF's shared system solutions. This can involve everything from external file integrations and document management to logging services and statistical support via data warehouse solutions. The team works agilely and consists of developers, requirement setters, and testers. The role has less focus on traditional product development and more on operationally close technical work, problem-solving, and continuous improvement – while utilizing your programming skills in C# as needed. It is important that you enjoy the breadth of tasks: configuration, simpler infrastructure issues, development, troubleshooting, and system understanding. TFF's office is located in Östermalm/Gärdet, close to both bus and subway, surrounded by training opportunities and green spaces. YOU WILL BE OFFERED - A consultancy assignment through Academic Work for 6 months, with good opportunities for extension or direct recruitment to TFF. - Work in a stable and socially important company with complex technology, where you will learn a lot. - A daily routine where you work closely with both business and technology and make a real difference in business-critical systems. RESPONSIBILITIES The role involves developing and managing TFF's core systems, handling integrations and document management, as well as solving complex problems for stakeholders. The work focuses on ensuring the systems' operation and functionality, with a range of tasks from programming to infrastructure changes. * Solve technical problems for the business – everything from programming in C# to configuration, troubleshooting, infrastructure changes together with operations, and upgrades of purchased software. * Work operationally close with logging services, file transfers, document management systems, and integration flows. * Lead your own development and improvement initiatives and collaborate with other developers inside and outside the team. * Provide technical support to testers and requirement analysts. * Work in an agile environment according to SCRUM with two-week sprints. * Contribute to improving the team's processes and broaden the perspective to see the entirety of TFF's system landscape. WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO - Is service-oriented, solution-focused, and enjoys a changing daily routine. - Has good knowledge of C# and .NET, preferably within more complex system environments. - Holds a bachelor's degree in system development or another relevant education. - Has good knowledge of SQL and Entity Framework. - Has experience with Azure DevOps/TFS and Git, preferably in managing build and deployment environments. - Has previously worked on developing or implementing solutions in .NET environments. - Understands how to manage systems in production and has the ability to see the whole picture and how systems are interconnected. - Communicates fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written. It is a merit if you have - Experience with M-Files (document management). - Knowledge of data warehouse solutions, SSIS, and Power BI. - Experience with Microsoft Azure, container technology, or similar environments. - Experience with configuration platforms such as Elastic or equivalent. To succeed in this role, you possess the following personal qualities: - Open to change - Helpful - Goal-oriented - Social - Responsible - Intellectually curious OUR RECRUITMENT PROCESS This recruitment process is managed by Academic Work, and our client's request is that all questions regarding the position be sent to Academic Work.
