ABOUT THE POSITION In this role, you will have a central function in a high-tech industrial company that develops and produces advanced technical products with a global reach. You will be an important link between production and IT, where you will support daily operations and develop system solutions that enhance the business. A typical workday begins with you being available on the production floor as work starts – assisting with everything from screens and iPads to network connections and system logins. After that, the focus shifts to more system-related tasks. You will work on creating and managing serial numbers, analyzing test reports, managing order flows, and optimizing internal systems. You will troubleshoot bugs, improve functionality, and ensure that systems operate seamlessly – both for users and behind the scenes. The role combines technical support with system development and requires an eye for both detail and the big picture. You will work closely with production, logistics, and management, and have the opportunity to influence how technology is used and developed throughout the organization. The position is located on Gotland and requires 100% on-site presence. YOU WILL RECEIVE - A key role in a technology-driven company with a strong culture of innovation - The opportunity to influence and develop internal systems and processes - Varied workdays with both practical and analytical elements - Close collaboration with various parts of the organization – from production to management RESPONSIBILITIES Tasks * Provide daily technical support for all hardware used at the production facility (computers, scanners, label printers, printers, specialized testing equipment, handheld devices, network-related equipment, etc.). * Maintain and further develop internal systems for order management, inventory, and production * Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in both hardware and software * Create and manage serial numbers and product data * Analyze test reports and identify areas for improvement * Work on system integration and process automation WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO - Has relevant post-secondary education in IT, e.g., computer science, engineering, etc. - Has previous experience in IT support and system administration - Possesses good knowledge of JavaScript, PHP, and SQL - Understands business systems, inventory management systems, and production-related IT - Has the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and work with databases and networks - Demonstrates good communication skills and is accustomed to collaborating with different parts of the organization It is an advantage if you have - Experience in IT support, system administration, or IT management within manufacturing or logistics - Technical expertise in business systems (ERP), warehouse management systems (WMS), and inventory control software As a person, you are self-driven and enjoy taking responsibility. You are flexible and move seamlessly between different parts of the organization. With a structured approach, you plan your day efficiently. You have good collaborative skills and are service-oriented – which is crucial when supporting operations on-site.
