Every year, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency makes 21 million decisions that impact people's lives and society as a whole. We disburse approximately 260 billion kronor annually. The Product Team for Digital Communication Management develops and manages modern communication solutions that create seamless and efficient contact with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency. Through continuous innovation and an ongoing shift towards a scalable microservices architecture, we deliver flexible, robust, and user-friendly systems—ready to meet future challenges and drive the agency's digital communication forward. Development, Java, and Container Technology As a software developer with us, you will work in a product team with a strong focus on collaboration and joint problem-solving. You are expected to have the ability to see the big picture in system development, understand how different parts are interconnected, and contribute to a well-functioning whole. Your role involves not only writing code but also actively participating in the entire development chain—from analysis and design all the way to delivery. We are looking for someone who primarily has several years of experience with Java and preferably experience with DevOps using GitOps. You will work with container platforms and microservices architecture. We value a working approach that focuses on automating and streamlining processes, where both software development and technology collaborate for the best possible results. The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper management. Therefore, it is important that you, as a potential employee, have a strong awareness of security. This is a job for you who want to take responsibility. We are looking for someone who: • has a university degree or equivalent experience and qualifications • has several years of experience with Java • acts on their own initiative and takes responsibility for achieving good results • collaborates effectively with others to reach common goals • has a systematic and meticulous working style • can understand and analyze complex issues • has good communication skills, both verbally and in writing • has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. It is advantageous if you have: • knowledge or experience with any of Jenkins/Tekton, ArgoCD, Quarkus, Typescript, Wildfly, Git, Vue, Jira, Linux, or SQL • experience with agile methods • knowledge or experience with OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes, or Helm • experience with testing and test automation.
