About this role

As a systems technician, you will be part of the command systems department, which belongs to the Life Guards' training unit. The command systems department leads training in various areas, including position training, officer and instructor training, as well as advanced training in staff duties, communication systems, and information systems. The department also supports other training activities during exercises related to command systems and command training exercises. In the role of systems technician, you will work with command systems. You will collaborate closely with other colleagues in the department, as our areas of work are somewhat interdependent. Main responsibilities: - Support and conduct training and exercises in LSS Mark (Command Support System Ground) 1.5 and MKN (Mobile Core Network) - Participate in planning for exercise activities and conduct planning within your own functional area - Maintain and support the development of the training facility in Kungsängen - Assist in training system operations management assistants for MKN LSS Mark 1.5 - Support the communication operations manager and information systems operations manager regarding regiment operations in LSS Mark Qualifications: - Experience with LSS Mark 1.5 and MKN - At least three years of employment as GSS/K in an IS (information system) group or communication unit - Trained signals protection instructor - Experience with TCT (Tactical Communication Tool) - Good ability to understand technical documentation - Strong communication skills in both spoken and written English - Valid driver's license (B) Personal attributes: As a person, you are engaged and driven in your work.
