About this role

The Riksdag Administration is an authority tasked with facilitating the work of the Parliament. Approximately 750 politically neutral employees work at the Riksdag Administration on a variety of tasks. We are now looking for an experienced system technician with deep expertise in Linux for the IT Security and Platforms department. Here, you will work with critical IT infrastructure for society in an environment where security is paramount. **Your Responsibilities** As a system technician, you will be involved in the operation, maintenance, and development of IT infrastructure for the Parliament’s security-sensitive systems, which have high security protection requirements. The focus will be on Linux-based environments, but you will also work with Windows, networking, signal protection, and other components of a complex and mission-critical IT environment. **Examples of Tasks** - Troubleshooting and optimization in Linux environments (Red Hat, Ubuntu, Debian, etc.) - Automation and scripting (e.g. Bash, Python, and Ansible) - System and application configuration - Requirements management, testing, and documentation - Participation in larger projects and tasks together with colleagues within and outside the department. **Your Qualifications** We are looking for someone who: - Has at least five years of experience working with Linux in complex environments - Holds a relevant post-secondary education in IT or equivalent experience - Has a good understanding of networking, security, and system integration - Is accustomed to working in a structured manner with documentation and procedures. **It is advantageous to have** - Experience with signal protection and classified systems - Training as a system operator in data encryption - Experience with security clearance and work in a classified environment. As a person, you are curious, solution-oriented, and thrive in environments where dialogue and collaboration are central to achieving success. You should also be able to communicate fluently in both Swedish and English, both in writing and verbally.
