Role as System Technician for Workplace
As part of our management group for Workplace, which currently consists of 15 people, you will be responsible for the development, installation, and management of our workplace services with high availability requirements. You will also have the opportunity to participate in various projects, where you will work on implementing, improving, and streamlining our workplace solutions, as well as actively contributing to the development of new solutions.
This role is a permanent full-time position. Start date is to be agreed upon.
Your Future Workplace
The IT Center supports residents, patients, and employees in Region Jönköping County with digital solutions that make a real difference. We are driven by the need to meet the region's demand for IT services and to be proactive in identifying opportunities for business development through effective IT. Your primary workplace will be at Datorgatan in Huskvarna, but we plan to move to new, beautiful premises on Batterigatan, Asecs in the fall of 2026.
The IT Center has a collective responsibility for IT operations in Region Jönköping County. In close collaboration with our clients, we contribute to the development and support of the region's operations with effective IT solutions. We currently have 240 engaged and forward-thinking employees with high competence and a proactive mindset in their respective areas of responsibility. Your Profile
We now need to strengthen the team with an additional resource and are therefore looking for an experienced system technician for our workplace unit. The team you will join works with the development, management, and operation of the region's workplace services such as the Windows client platform, mobile devices, messaging systems, printing, and physical and digital meeting rooms.
The tools we work with within the Microsoft 365 sphere include Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint. In addition, we work with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM), application packaging for PCs and mobile devices, Exchange Server, and several vendor-specific systems for managing printing and meeting rooms.
We prefer that applicants have a university degree in IT or equivalent competence, as well as being a senior system technician with at least 5 years of documented experience working with the aforementioned tools and systems in mission-critical environments. Travel may be required for the position, so a valid driver's license (category B) is necessary. Excellent proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, is required to participate in customer and supplier dialogues and to create clear system documentation.
