JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As an Electronic Monitoring Systems Technician at the Swedish Prison and Probation Service, You Will Be Part of a Team Responsible for Managing and Defining a Monitoring System Based on Core Business Needs. Your Tasks Include Explaining and Documenting the System's Technical and Functional Aspects for Core Operations, Based on Established Requirements, and Assisting Colleagues with Troubleshooting in Daily Operations. Due to Changing Legal Requirements and Conditions, You Will Also Participate in Analyzing Necessary System Changes and Their Implementation in the Organization. This Means You Will, Together with Your Colleagues, Develop Solution Proposals Related to Both Technology and Security, and Contribute to Their Implementation. Close Collaboration Will Be Required, Both Internally Within the Prison and Probation Service and Externally with Subcontractors, Regarding Technical Issues. We Are Seeking Someone Who Has: • Academic Degree in Relevant Field, Such as Systems Science, Bachelor of Engineering, Master of Engineering, or Similar - Alternatively, You Have Other Education/Experience That We Assess as Relevant • Several Years of Experience Working in Large and Complex IT Environments • Good Understanding of Work in Larger IT Environments • Ability to Express Yourself Well Verbally and in Writing in Swedish and English It is Meritorious If You Have: • Certification in Testing • ITIL Certification • IT Security Certification • Experience with Electronic Monitoring • Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps • Experience Producing Technical Documentation • Experience with International Contacts • Experience Leading and Collaborating with IT Providers • Experience with Security-Technical Issues • Experience Working According to ITIL • Knowledge of Networks and Communication Technology • Knowledge of Telecom, Mobile Networks • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure DevOps • Experience Working in IT within the Prison and Probation Service OTHER The Prison and Probation Service Has Chosen to Remove the Personal Letter and Replace It with Selection Questions Relevant to the Position.
