ABOUT THE POSITION
Our client, MilDef, develops and delivers robust IT systems for both Swedish and international defense actors. Through advanced hardware and software solutions, they contribute to secure communication and operational capability within Sweden, NATO, and its allies.
As a systems engineer at MilDef, you will play a central role in ensuring the quality and functionality of their defense systems. You will work with requirements specification, analysis, breakdown, and verification throughout the project flow. On a daily basis, you will break down customer requirements, assess system and organizational impact, and create verification documents to ensure that requirements are met. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
This role focuses on the entire lifecycle of requirements and verification within systems development. You will be responsible for analyzing, specifying, tracing, and testing requirements for complex defense systems, ensuring quality and functionality from start to finish.
* Identify and analyze requirements within ongoing and future projects
* Requirement breakdown and allocation for clear requirements on the appropriate subsystems
* Establish requirements traceability to ensure assurance between requirements, design, implementation, and testing
* Set up verification strategies, specifying when and where subsystems should be tested to ensure a functioning final delivery
* Develop test specifications for various subsystems before testing occasions
* Execute and analyze test results to ensure that the system operates according to the requirements
* Break down customer requirements and assess system and organizational impact
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO HAVE
* A Bachelor's degree or equivalent education in computer science, systems development, electronics, or mechatronics
* The ability to analyze complex systems and identify problems at an early stage
* Experience in writing technical reports, requirements documents, and test plans clearly
* Experience working with cross-functional teams across multiple disciplines
* Understanding of Systems Engineering processes, including requirements analysis, specification, traceability, change management, testing methodology, and strategy
* Proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
This position is classified, and to begin the assignment, you must be able to undergo and be approved in all steps of the security clearance process, including background checks and information retrieval.
It is a merit if you have:
- Experience from the defense, telecom, or security industries
- Knowledge of model-based systems development
