Your Role The Component Maintenance & Test Equipment department is our combined maintenance expertise - the unit enables more efficient operations and increased competitiveness for the Aviation Services business units. The Engineering & Development section is responsible for providing technical services for maintenance in mechanics, hydraulics, electromechanics, and safety equipment for both military and civil aviation systems. The section includes the groups Systems Engineering, Equipment Engineering, and a Project Management Office. We are now looking for a Systems Engineer/Maintenance Engineer who wants to work on maintenance technical issues within the areas of mechanics, hydraulics, electromechanics, and safety equipment for aircraft, helicopters, and to some extent, ground vehicles. The work is carried out independently and offers great opportunities for variety and development, both theoretically and practically, within a very broad operational field. You will also be able to conduct some training in the field for internal or external stakeholders. The tasks consist of providing technical consulting services to internal and external customers and include, among other things: * Technical analyses and investigations * Establishment of new capabilities in maintenance * Analysis of operations and maintenance * Development and optimization of maintenance resources * Preparation and change management * Certification of materials * Preparation and updating of various documentation * Development and production of testing and maintenance equipment Additionally, the role includes providing internal technical support to our maintenance operations and technical support to our marketing team, for example, in connection with the preparation of quotes and calculations. Travel for work may occur, both within and outside Sweden. In the future, we foresee good opportunities for international assignments for those who want to and can. Your Profile You may be a technician looking to develop your area of expertise. Perhaps you are working in maintenance and want to take the next step, or you are an engineer who enjoys being close to maintenance operations. We believe you have some form of technical education in one of the mentioned areas or several years of work experience in, for example, aviation maintenance at the system/component level or similar maintenance operations. You should possess good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written forms as the work includes documentation in both languages. Previous experience in a technical position where you have worked with documentation and/or maintenance tasks is an advantage. We are looking for someone who takes responsibility for their tasks, organizes their work, and drives the process forward. You enjoy solving technical problems and have a strong ability to collaborate with a sense of humility and flexibility. The position requires that you undergo and be approved according to the current regulations for security protection.
