The Swedish Armed Forces is acquiring and introducing the S 106 air system as a replacement for the S 100D (ASC890). The air system is based on Bombardier's Global 6000 platform, which Saab is modifying into a sensor and command platform, AEW&C (Airborne Early Warning and Control). The aim is to begin the introduction under F 7's management at SAAB/Tannefors, with parts of the personnel at Malmen, and eventually move according to the FVC placement decision. PRI Section The PRI section will be a central part of the introduction, as well as early provision of expertise within the Swedish Armed Forces (FM) organization to facilitate the system's introduction at the system handover from the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV). The activities will be characterized by method and technology development, unit establishment, training, and planned OPEVAL activities. Parts of the section will also be involved in FMV's Verification and Validation activities (VoV). The PRI section is expected to be established until the first quarter of 2027, after which personnel, following the handover, are expected to serve in OrgE where S 106 is placed for continued introduction and competence building. The group's composition consists of areas deemed critical for a safe introduction to be carried out. Prerequisites, education requirements, and tasks are based on experience from previous introductions of air systems and requirements from manuals and governing documents. Main Responsibilities As a systems engineer in the PRI section, your tasks will include, but are not limited to, supporting the introduction by: • Serving as a competence resource during handover, introduction, and unit establishment of the S 106 system • Developing documentation for governing manuals such as FOM, SOM, LFL, LFU, and LUFU • Creating training materials and tactical procedures within the framework of LSS OPEVAL activities • Preparing documentation and participating in FMV T&E's validation activities • Acting as an instructor • Monitoring failure outcomes and supporting investigations • Being prepared to undertake practical work in another operator's activities. Requirements Qualifications • At least 2 years of experience in management of continued airworthiness • Engineer or alternatively aircraft technician with a minimum of 4 years of experience in management within aircraft maintenance • Civilian or military background • B driver's license for manual transmission Personal Attributes • Good experience in leading projects • Proficient in expressing oneself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English • Good pedagogical skills We also expect you to be a good representative of the Swedish Armed Forces and to support the Armed Forces' core values (see www.forsvarsmakten.se).
