Systems Engineer - Design Authority

We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer for Gripen Training Simulators. You will serve in the role of Design Authority (DA), where your primary responsibilities are to ensure the system is designed to meet technical requirements, declare the system's design and capabilities, and technically lead the system's development throughout its lifecycle. As Design Authority, you will become a key person in the organization responsible for the integrated holistic solution that includes both software and hardware. Your Role: In your role, you will technically lead our employees in the development of training products from start to finish, together with other Design Authorities. This includes everything from early requirement definition to deployment at our customer sites. The role spans the entire journey from idea to customer delivery. The work provides opportunities to influence both technology and methods, working closely with project managers, system architects, software and systems engineers, testers, and designers. Example Tasks: * Think technology and how we realize technical solutions that create maximum training value for our customers' pilots and technicians * Maintain continuous dialogue with our product management and other technical managers, including close collaboration with customer representatives * Requirements management and technical documentation * Drive and develop our technical roadmap * Ensure interfaces with other systems Your Profile: We are looking for someone who is open, social, and enjoys working in a group. We believe you have experience in some of the following to fit this role: * College degree or equivalent in a relevant field * Broad and general technical competence * Preferably experience with Gripen or simulators * Product development based on sound systems engineering * Team work and communication between teams Experience/interest in information security and agile development is meritorious The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to current security protection regulations.
