We at AVISEQ Critical Communication AB are now looking for a Systems Engineer in aviation to join our team at Arlanda. About the position As a Systems Engineer, you will be offered a challenging and stimulating job in an exciting environment within our aviation unit, focusing on air traffic control systems, communication, navigation, and radar systems (CNS). You will be a vital link in maintaining the technical safety surrounding aviation and air traffic. Furthermore, you will be responsible for ensuring that the work is conducted in accordance with applicable quality and environmental guidelines. Your main responsibilities The work includes preventive and corrective maintenance of the following systems: • Air traffic control systems • Navigation systems • Radio systems • Radar systems • Meteorological systems • Communication systems • IP networks and PC applications Many of the systems at the airport are unique in nature. Therefore, as a Systems Engineer, you will undergo basic training and a number of specific advanced courses. You will work for a company that is a leader in its industry, and you will be part of a team consisting of ambitious and dedicated colleagues. Travel is included in the job as we also have equipment outside the airport and at nearby airports. The role may include scheduled on-call duty after approved training and certification. Who are you? To thrive and succeed in the role of Systems Engineer at AVISEQ, you are independent and driven, yet you find it easy to collaborate with both colleagues and our customers. You have analytical skills and a solution-oriented approach to how you carry out your work, and you have a passionate interest in technology. We believe you have at least a 3-year technical high school education or a bachelor's degree in engineering, or equivalent relevant work experience. We would like you to have professional experience and knowledge of radio technology, analog/digital electronics, sensors, and mechanics. Perhaps you have experience in maintenance of telecommunication systems, data centers, or monitoring systems. Experience with relevant equipment and instruments, as well as PC-based support systems, is highly meritorious. You possess good communication skills in Swedish and English.
