System Manager for Information Supply Unit
We are now seeking a system manager who wants to help develop our digital support for information management.
You will have special responsibility for system management of SharePoint, advanced digital signatures, and template management. The focus of the role is the user perspective and driving the management units forward.
The Information Supply Unit is a new unit at the Swedish Forest Agency. Currently, archivists and case controllers work in the unit. The unit's task is to ensure that the Swedish Forest Agency's information is managed uniformly and systematically, which in turn supports the agency's ability to maintain good governance culture and meet the needs and requirements of digitalization.
Job Description
As a system manager, you will work to ensure that the Swedish Forest Agency's document management systems are stable and purpose-adapted, and that the systems meet applicable legal requirements, such as those related to information security and preservation. Another important task is to ensure that the systems support users' needs.
You will work closely with colleagues in the unit and also with colleagues from other units, primarily the IT unit and the business development unit.
Work Tasks
- Manage and develop system functions and integrations based on operational needs and associated work methods
- Ensure data quality, information security, and compliance with legal requirements
- Lead and drive the management group for your focus systems
- In addition to managing SharePoint, you will also review the use of the agency's other storage locations
- Participate in further development of the agency's digital information management
- Keep system-related documentation updated, develop training materials, and conduct information meetings
Your Qualifications
- Professional experience and/or education in system management or similar role/education in information management
- Good knowledge of SharePoint
- Experience with or understanding of digital signing solutions
- Pedagogical, structured, and with a clear user focus
- Skilled in verbal and written communication
- Comfortable collaborating across different business areas
Additional Merits
- Experience in government operations
- Knowledge of template management
Location: Jönköping or southern Sweden. Currently, most of the unit is located in Jönköping.
