Description
The Social Administration in Säffle implements the Social Committee's mandate within functional support, healthcare, individual and family care, and care services.
The administration provides service, care, nursing, and counseling to approximately 2,800 people in Säffle Municipality. We also work with preventive measures. To execute this mandate, we have approximately 450 employees, excluding hourly-paid staff.
The position is located within the administrative unit, which is a support function for all branches of the administration.
Job Responsibilities
In the role of system administrator, you will work with the Lifecare management system and play a central role in ensuring that the system meets the organization's needs and supports efficiency and quality of work. Your work will include the following tasks:
• Drive Lifecare Development: Work closely with the organization to identify, analyze the benefits, and implement improvements and new functions in the system that support user needs.
• Collaborate with IT Organization: Work together with the central IT organization and its IT technicians to ensure optimal technical solutions and smooth system operation.
• User Training: Be responsible for educating and supporting system users, including creating training materials and conducting training sessions.
• Vendor Negotiations: Engage in dialogue with the system supplier to discuss and negotiate prices and terms, ensuring that the vendor's services and products meet organizational requirements.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct tests and follow-ups of system functions to ensure they meet quality standards and organizational needs.
• Statistical Reporting: Compile and report operational data to managers and authorities.
• Documentation and Reporting: Document changes and updates to the system and report on system performance and usage to management.
You will be a key player in creating an efficient and user-friendly Lifecare environment, contributing to high quality.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
Relevant Education: University degree in systems science, IT, or another relevant field.
Technical Competence: Strong knowledge of system administration and experience working with the Lifecare/Procapita management system or other systems in social services or similar areas.
Collaboration Experience: Experience in a similar role with responsibility for system development and user support.
Business Acumen: Ability to understand organizational needs, drive system development accordingly, and negotiate with vendors.
Communication Skills: Skilled at communicating, both verbally and in writing, and able to convey technical information comprehensibly to users with diverse backgrounds.
Flexibility and Initiative: Comfortable working independently, able to prioritize tasks, and open to adapting to changing needs.
As a person, you are structured, service-oriented, and have a positive attitude. You value collaboration and contribute to a good workplace atmosphere, which is crucial for creating a successful and well-functioning work environment.
