Job Responsibilities As a systems manager, you have a coordinating responsibility for one or more of our critical systems within the telecom area. You'll operate at the intersection of technology and business - becoming a link between users, clients, and developers. Your mission involves understanding organizational needs, transforming them into clear and executable activities, and driving development forward in collaboration with multiple teams and business units. This is a role for someone who wants to combine communication, technical thinking, and leadership - and who thrives in creating structure in an environment where conditions change quickly. You'll work proactively, maintain an overall perspective, and ensure the system evolves in line with business needs. Your Responsibilities: • Lead and coordinate daily management and development work in the team • Capture, structure, and clarify needs from users and the business • Convert needs into executable development and delivery activities • Ensure effective communication between teams, users, and decision-makers • Prioritize, plan, and follow up on efforts with teams and stakeholders • Manage the system's lifecycle - from operations and further development to potential technological shifts and decommissioning • Drive improvement work, gather feedback, and translate it into concrete actions • Contribute to collaboration and coordination across system and team boundaries You'll work according to agile principles in a DevOps environment, where we value transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement. The work is dynamic and demands high flexibility, collaboration skills, and communication confidence. Qualifications We're seeking someone with a strong ability to create structure, drive work forward, and maintain an overview in an environment where change is a natural part of daily life. You're comfortable taking initiative, acting in a coordinating role, and have a good ability to switch between holistic perspectives and technical details. You have a communicative approach and enjoy collaborating with diverse competencies - from business representatives to developers and technical specialists. Required Qualifications: • Post-secondary education in IT, systems science, or other relevant field • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in system management, system development, or system-related project management • Documented experience leading teams, resources, or technical tasks • Strong understanding of systems lifecycle • Ability to communicate clearly and structured with both technical and non-technical actors • Experience with agile working methods • Excellent Swedish and English skills, both verbal and written Application This position is with Trafikverket, where we work to bring Sweden closer together.
