About the job As a system administrator within ITSM, you will be responsible for managing, developing, and ensuring the quality of our ITSM tool – so that it effectively, securely, and sustainably supports the needs of the organization. The role combines technical system administration with leadership, where you will have the opportunity to drive improvements and support colleagues in their daily work. You will - be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and further development of the Transport Agency's ITSM tool - ensure that ITIL processes such as incident, problem, change, and request management function according to established routines - lead and coach the team working with ITSM – including planning, prioritizing, and proposing professional development - collaborate with the organization to understand needs and translate them into functionality in the system - manage and oversee permissions and roles as well as information classification of the ITSM tool - monitor and analyze usage, performance, and areas for improvement - document system changes, process flows, and user support - act as the point of contact for suppliers and internal stakeholders during upgrades, incidents, or change needs. As a leader, you are expected to - be a driving force in the team's development and work methodology - create a positive atmosphere and structure within the team, even under high pressure - plan and lead management meetings and contribute to the strategic development of ITSM support - train and support users in the system's functions and best practices. You must have - experience in system administration within the ITSM field - good knowledge of ITIL and its practical application - experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or HaloITSM - experience in team leadership or work management within IT or system administration - the ability to work in a structured, independent, and solution-oriented manner - good communication skills and experience documenting technical solutions. It is advantageous if you also have - strong technical skills – understanding of programming, integrations, server management, and client management - basic competence in SQL, REST API, and PowerShell - experience working in infrastructure and operations within the IT field - experience working in large and complex organizations - experience in security-sensitive operations - knowledge of IT and information security. As an employee with us, there is an opportunity to work remotely up to three days a week. The needs of the organization and the nature of the tasks will determine whether and to what extent this is possible. Employment with us may involve placement in a security class.
