At Toyota Material Handling, we are facing exciting challenges in the area of IoT (Internet of Things) and are now looking for a System Architect for R&D Connected Solutions. As a System Architect in IoT (Internet of Things) at Toyota Material Handling Manufacturing Sweden, you will have the chance to shape the future technological landscape. In this role, you will realize industrial IoT for connected vehicles and have significant responsibility for setting the technical guidelines for current and future solutions. Here, you will have the opportunity to work at both a strategic and operational level, closely collaborating with system development and end-users! The position entails: * Overall responsibility for the solution that connects our trucks and related interfaces. * Development and maintenance of application software/solutions/services within the Connected Solutions technology area. * Participation in the technical strategy within your area of responsibility, including roadmaps and key technical decisions. * Technical product ownership for the application software for our telematics units. * Drafting product specifications and requirements. * Ensuring compliance with relevant standards and directives. * Managing certification issues. * Maintaining close contact with all functions within TMHMS, Product Planning, and Service Market. Contacts will also occur with TMHE sales companies, TMHI, as well as external suppliers and customers. * Being involved in global collaborations within the group. * Designing the system architecture for IoT solutions and evaluating new technical solutions. We are looking for an experienced system architect in software or system architecture with a strong technical focus and interest. You should have prior experience in embedded development and connected products, with knowledge of radio communication as a plus. You thrive in collaborative teams and are eager to share your knowledge and experiences. Furthermore, you have a broad interest in technology and good problem-solving skills. For the position of System Architect, we are looking for someone who has/is: * A degree in engineering or technology in relevant fields. * Experience in product development within software, preferably with a focus on vehicles and connected systems and their services. * Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. * Familiarity with collaborating and coordinating at an international level. To be successful in this role, it is important that you are proactive, strategic, and have good collaboration skills. Previous experience with Azure (IoT Hub, KeyVault), Python, Linux, Yocto, CAN, C++, Redis, etc., is advantageous. Who is Toyota Material Handling?
