Linux System Administrator Wanted in Järfälla

Description Our client in Järfälla is seeking an experienced Linux System Administrator to strengthen the team managing and further developing technical services in a security-classified environment. The role involves close collaboration with colleagues in operations, support, and technology development, focusing on stability, security, and availability of the organization's systems. You will contribute to the development of modern and efficient working methods while supporting the delivery of IT services to the organization's business areas. Work Tasks In this role, you will continuously work to ensure high operational reliability and availability in Linux environments. You will participate in technology-related projects, take responsibility for troubleshooting, installations, patch management, and server environment upgrades. The work also involves supporting delivery and support flows, and actively contributing to standardization, automation, and platform development. You will work in an environment where security awareness is a central part of daily life, and where technical solutions need to be both robust and flexible to enable effective collaboration across geographical boundaries. Travel is part of the job, primarily within Sweden. Qualifications Requirements • At least 3 years of experience working with Linux, focusing on server operations. • Good knowledge of scripting, such as Bash or Python. • Experience with automated configuration management and good understanding of security requirements. • Interest in technological development and working with modern technical solutions. • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. • Detail-oriented, service-minded, and enjoys working in teams. • Ability and willingness to work towards increased automation and efficiency. • B driver's license. Meritorious • Experience with Red Hat, SUSE Manager, or similar tools. • Experience with Ansible, Docker, or Kubernetes. • Experience with system hardening. Terms The position is on-site at the client in Järfälla. Employment is full-time at 100%. The assignment period runs from February 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026. The assignment is subject to security requirements equivalent to RK2/red environment. Continuous selection is applied.
