At Akkodis in Gothenburg, we are looking for a system administrator for an assignment with one of our clients in the defense industry. Do you have previous experience with LINUX and are ready for new challenges? Then you might be the one we are looking for!
**What you will do:**
In the role of system administrator, you will be a key member of the team responsible for the management and further development of technical services for the client's operations. The assignment includes ensuring the availability of systems and digital services, which places high demands on security, stability, and accuracy in the work performed. You will also play a central role in the delivery and support flow of IT services.
You will also work on:
- Standardizing, streamlining, and automating workflows and systems
- Participating in projects related to the technology platform
- Being part of the operations and support team, performing troubleshooting and installations
- Patch management and upgrading of server environments
- Ensuring compliance with applicable security requirements
- Actively participating in technology improvement initiatives
**Your profile:**
We are looking for someone with a couple of years of experience in the LINUX technology area, focusing on server operations. We prefer that you have experience from large operational environments with multiple operating system variants. You have a strong interest in technology and an ambition to drive work towards automation to find more efficient ways of working.
Furthermore, we would like you to have:
- Good knowledge of commonly used scripting languages such as Bash or Python
- A security mindset regarding automated configuration management
- A service-oriented approach
- An interest in working with the latest technology and keeping up with industry developments
- Fluent language skills in Swedish and English
- A valid driver's license (B)
It is advantageous if you have:
- Experience with Red Hat, SUSE Manager, or similar tools
- Experience with Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes
- System hardening experience
Travel, primarily within Sweden, is included in the job, so a driver's license (B) is desirable.
