About the position
Volvo Construction Equipment is currently in an exciting and expansive phase and is seeking skilled welders to strengthen its team. The position is a recruitment through Montico, where there may be an opportunity for the right person to be offered employment with Volvo Construction Equipment.
If you are selected for the position, you will undergo a welding validation during the recruitment process.
Job description
You will work in one of the welding groups within the company. The work can be physically demanding, but the work environment is a key factor that is continuously being improved. The work is carried out in a structured manner to achieve set production goals, which places high demands on your own contribution. The working hours are scheduled for two shifts.
We are looking for someone who
- Has relevant high school or vocational education or equivalent experience
- Licensed welding competence is an advantage
- Has experience with MIG/MAG welding in the manufacturing industry, preferably with thicker materials
- Has good collaboration skills and enjoys working both in a team and independently
- Is interested in working with continuous improvements and has a strong initiative
