At our client in Örebro, you will work on varied projects, customer-specific solutions, and welding in MAG and TIG on sheet thicknesses from 1.5 to 20 mm. This staffing is a collaboration between Manpower and our client. You will be employed by Manpower but work on-site at the client. This is a consulting assignment with a fixed-term employment of 6 months with good chances of extension. To be considered for this assignment, you need to be available full-time and have a driver's license and access to a car.
In accordance with our client's requirements, we will conduct a background check in the criminal and conviction register during this recruitment process.
Work Tasks
🔧 Welding in MAG and TIG according to drawing and customer specifications
📐 Reading and interpreting technical drawings and welding instructions
🧱 Working with sheet thicknesses from approximately 1.5 mm up to 20 mm
✅ Ensuring work meets customer quality requirements
🛠️ Preparing materials and workstation before welding
🔍 Visual inspection and self-checking of weld seams
🧽 Final processing of welded details as needed
🤝 Collaboration with colleagues in production and planning
📋 Documenting work according to internal routines and customer requirements
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
* Has several years of experience welding with MAG and TIG
* Good proficiency in reading drawings and working from technical documentation
* Experience welding sheet thicknesses from approximately 1.5 mm up to 20 mm
* Ability to work according to specific customer requirements and quality standards
* Thorough and responsible in work
* Good collaboration skills and willingness to contribute to the team
* Speaks Swedish and English fluently
* Holds a B driver's license and has access to a car
Meritorious if you have previously worked in contract manufacturing or small-series production, have experience with quality control and verification of details, and speak additional languages, preferably Polish and Arabic.
You are a meticulous and responsible person who enjoys working practically and technically. You have an eye for detail and are accustomed to delivering high quality, even with specific requirements. You like solving problems, are self-driven, and easy to collaborate with. You are comfortable following drawings and instructions and take pride in your craftsmanship.
