Are you interested in working hands-on with high-tech equipment? We are currently looking for a welder to join our team in creating value for our customers in our processing equipment division.
The Production Centre Lund within Tetra Pak Processing Equipment AB manufactures, assembles, and tests processing and filling machine equipment for food handling. Through our production centers, we provide high-quality products quickly and efficiently to our customers. Our operations have a strong focus on both safety and quality. A key foundation for this is our continuous improvement efforts throughout the organization in accordance with WCM – World Class Manufacturing.
We are now seeking a welder for a permanent position in Lund in the Module Assembly department.
What will you do?
• Welding pipes for various types of processing plants in the food industry.
• TIG welding in acid-resistant stainless steel, both manual and mechanized. The main dimensions of the pipes we weld range from 10 mm to 104 mm, with thicknesses from 1.0 mm to 3.0 mm.
• Assembling pipes and components based on drawings in 2D and 3D environments.
• Being involved in the ongoing improvement work within the organization.
You will work in an experienced and self-driven team where everyone contributes their strengths to achieve set goals and enhance the already high level of delivered work. Some tasks may be physically demanding.
Who are you?
You have a solid educational background and experience in TIG welding of pipes and pipe components in stainless steel. You should be an experienced computer user and possess good knowledge of both Swedish and English. We would prefer if you have experience with WCM, Lean, and 5S.
To succeed in this role, you need to be meticulous and systematic, as you and your team are responsible for the quality of the work performed. Additionally, you are creative with a strong ability to solve problems and think outside the box, as demonstrated by your willingness to engage in continuous improvement. You are committed, proactive, and have a knack for collaboration. We value flexibility and curiosity in learning and working with various tasks within the department. Being able to read technical drawings is a given.
